A Christmas Wish for Warmth and Love
Found abandoned in her cat carrier outside by the bins at our member, Mayhew, 12-year-old She-Ra showed no physical wounds on assessment by their veterinary team.
Sadly She-Ra did have emotional scars. She didn’t understand why she had been abandoned and was initially shut down. She was often found hiding under a blanket, seeking the security she lost the day she was abandoned.
Since her abandonment, She-Ra has begun to heal and has made positive progress. The team have been able to give her a second chance while searching for the loving home she deserves.
Most importantly, She-Ra began to trust humans again and is safe and warm, where she receives all the love and attention she needs, this Christmas.
Today, She-Ra is safe and warm, surrounded by the love she deserves. But her Christmas wish isn’t just for herself – it’s for all the animals like her who find themselves abandoned.
Every animal deserves to feel safe, warm, and loved – not just at Christmas, but all year round. Could you make an animals wish come true this Christmas?
