Abandoned dog rescued
At 11-years-old, Niko was found wandering the streets on his own in North West London. Wearing a collar with a lead still attached, we can only assume that Niko had been abandoned and left to face the world on his own. After being found by a concerned member of the public, French bulldog Niko was brought to Together for Animals member Mayhew, where he could start to receive the care he desperately needed.

Soulby’s stable stay
Soulby the donkey was brought to our member SPANA’s centre in Bamako, Mali with a large lump on the left side of his body that had become red and ulcerated. Five-year-old Soulby is a vital part of his owner’s life. Just like many of the donkeys living in Bamako, Soulby works in the vast Badalabougou rubbish dump.

Pedals’ astonishing recovery
Earlier this year, a young filly was discovered emaciated, covered in lice and tied to an old bike, which had been wrapped in barbed wire at a site in Hertfordshire. Now, following her rescue and careful rehabilitation, the pony named ‘Pedals’ is almost unrecognisable from the youngster that first came into our member charity World Horse Welfare’s care.
