Celebrate your pets
Celebrated on 4th October – Francis of Assisi feast day, the animals’ patron saint – World Animal Day raises awareness of animal rights issues, animal welfare, and the work charities do to help animals live better lives.
Together for Animals members work tirelessly to create a world where animals are treated with the love and respect they deserve – whether that’s rescuing an abandoned pet, providing humane equipment to working animals, or teaching the next generation the treatment and care of animals. Animal lovers like you are making this vital work possible.
This World Animal Day we want to celebrate our supporters and the animals you love! This year we’ve spent more time with our animals than ever! They’ve been our best friends through lockdown, made us laugh and bought us joy – and we’d love to see and share your stories this World Animal Day.
Let us know about your pets, what you love about them, how they help and support you, and the joy they bring. We’d love to hear about them and see your pictures – and a selection of pets will appear on our social media on World Animal Day and in our next newsletter.
Email your stories and pictures to caroline@togetherforanimals.org.uk.
