Make your donation go further with Gift Aid

If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can help even more animals — at no extra cost to you. By adding Gift Aid, every £1 you donate becomes £1.25, helping four incredible charities reach more animals with life‑changing care. It’s one simple tick that makes a big difference.

Your donation can go further thanks to Gift Aid!

When you say yes to Gift Aid:

  • Your donation grows by 25%, helping more cats, dogs, horses, donkeys and small pets.
  • It costs you nothing extra — the additional amount comes from HMRC.
  • It supports all your gifts, including one‑off donations, regular donations and sponsorship.
  • We can even claim Gift Aid on donations from the past four years, if you’re eligible.

Your kindness goes further, helping animals who urgently need safety, treatment and care.

a diagram of how Gift Aid works - if you give £5 and complete a Gift Aid declaration form we can claim £1.25 from government. This means that £6.25 actually goes to helping animals in need.

Add Gift Aid in seconds:

All you need to do is complete a simple declaration. You only need to do this once, and it will apply to all future donations unless you tell us otherwise.

Our online donation form also collects Gift Aid details automatically, if you choose to opt in.

Am I eligible for Gift Aid?

You can use Gift Aid if:

  • You are a UK taxpayer, and
  • You pay at least as much Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax as the amount we will claim back.

If you pay higher‑rate tax, you can also claim additional relief through your Self‑Assessment or by asking HMRC to adjust your tax code.
