Cost-of-living crisis
The cost-of-living crisis is affecting many people – and their beloved animals.
These are tough times, and all our members are seeing an increase in the demand for their services, whether that be free veterinary care, or rehoming an animal that has been abandoned, or when sadly the owner can no longer care for them.
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic continues to have devastating consequences for working animals in developing countries around the world. Lockdowns and restrictions on movement left many people with no work or income, and owners have been struggling to feed or care for their animals.
This winter will, no doubt, be the hardest we’ve faced for a long time. Under these challenging circumstances cats, dogs, donkeys and horses still need urgent help.
Our members are offering a vital lifeline to animals who owners are struggling. Your support will them to provide much-needed supplies for vulnerable animals. Thank you.
